ACMA ICT Show 2009 was announced on the historic date 09.09.09 @ 09.09 a.m.
ACMA ICT Show 2008 was affected badly due to recession. It was a mammoth task to not just bring the confidence back, but to take the show to the new heights.
ACMA had lots of challenges right from structuring the database, developing promotion campaign for participants, sponsors, visitors, in-kind marketing, national marketing etc. Over and above all, the correct positioning the show in a correct method.
After a deep study and lots of brain storming sessions it was positioned as combination of B-2-B & B-2-C show.
Well, it was exactly 90 days in which we had to do miracles. Starting from recruitment of sales force, their orientation, sales strategy & monitoring, marketing activities, developing internal & external co-ordination system and much more.
After measuring the current market and previous show reports, the target was set as follows:
Participant Growth by 65%
Visitor Growth by 35%
All targets were overachieved by more than 56%
Finally Ahmedabad has witnessed the true IT show between 17th to 20th December'10.
